Senator Mary Landrieu & Governor Bobby Jindal are both jeapordizing the State of Louisiana as well as the entire gulf coast region
Landrieu and Jindal have both come out putting pressure on the federal government claiming jobs have been lost due to the moratorium on deep water drilling
This is incorrect and showing their support for the drilling industry even at the cost of lives and businesses
The fact is there are only some 150 drilling rigs in the gulf and only 30 of them have been affected by the temporary ban on deep water drilling
The drilling industry infrastructure is spread across the ENTIRE GULF COAST not centrally located in LOUISIANA
Of the 30 rigs TEMPORARILY affected the supporting services are spread equally through out Texas , Louisiana , Mississippi , Alabama and Oklahoma
The truth is Landrieu and Jindal both have their eyes set on offices higher than the senate and governors office
Rather than support effective investigation and new legislation which will protect the citizens , business and environment of the gulf coast , Jindal and Landrieu are making waves to get noticed an stay in the news
Even at the cost of destroying any real chance of protecting the people , businesses and envrionment of their home states
Both Landrieu and Jindal expect the people , business and environment should suffer so they can make a splash and get in the news to promote their future political aspirations
Neither Jindal nor Landrieu get the big picture to protect Louisiana and the gulf coast , they are to focused on their narrow selfish view of their carrers
Neither one of these will get my vote next election
